Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) adalah universitas riset nasional yang berlokasi di Daejeon, Korea Selatan. KAIST didirikan oleh pemerintah Korea pada tahun 1971 sebagai lembaga sains dan teknik publik pertama yang berorientasi pada penelitian. KAIST dianggap sebagai salah satu universitas paling bergengsi di Korea. Pada tahun 2007, KAIST bermitra dengan lembaga internasional dan mengadopsi program gelar ganda untuk mahasiswanya. Institusi mitranya termasuk Universitas Teknik Denmark, Universitas Carnegie Mellon, Institut Teknologi Georgia, Universitas Teknik Berlin, dan Universitas Teknik Munich. Persyaratan Beasiswa S1 KAIST

• Pendaftar yang telah lulus atau akan lulus SMA paling lambat tanggal 31 Agustus 2022.
• Pendaftar bukan warga negara Korea.

*Warga negara Korea yang memiliki kewarganegaraan ganda tidak memenuhi syarat untuk mendaftar sebagai pelajar asing.

Catatan: Pendaftar internasional yang orang tuanya lahir di Korea HARUS memenuhi salah satu dari dua persyaratan berikut:

1. Tidak satu pun dari orang tua pemohon adalah warga negara Korea atau;
2. Pendaftar telah menerima seluruh pendidikan dasar, menengah pertama, dan sekolah menengah atas di luar Korea pada tingkat yang sebanding dan setara dengan yang disediakan di Korea. Namun dalam hal ini, sekolah internasional yang berada di Korea tidak diakui sebagai sekolah asing.

Pendaftar asal Korea yang menyelesaikan seluruh pendidikan (SD, SMP, dan SMA) di luar Korea harus menyerahkan Sertifikat Fakta Mengenai Masuk & Keluar yang dikeluarkan oleh Kantor Imigrasi Korea. Sertifikat tersebut adalah sertifikat yang baru dikeluarkan.

*Siswa internasional asal Korea yang tidak memenuhi salah satu persyaratan di atas TIDAK BISA mendaftar.

Description about KAIST

The Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) is a national research university located in Daejeon, South Korea. KAIST was established by the Korean government in 1971 as the nation’s first public, research-oriented science and engineering institution. KAIST is considered to be one of the most prestigious universities in the nation. In 2007, KAIST partnered with international institutions and adopted dual degree programs for its students. Its partner institutions include the Technical University of Denmark, Carnegie Mellon University, the Georgia Institute of Technology, the Technical University of Berlin, and the Technical University of Munich. KAIST has been the gateway to advanced science and technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship, and our graduates have been key players behind Korea’ innovations. The Intuition

Requirements

• Applicants who have graduated or will graduate from high school by August 31^st, 2022.
• Applicant is not a citizen of Korea.

*Korean citizens who hold dual citizenship are not eligible to apply as foreign students.

Note: International applicants whose parents were born in Korea MUST additionally satisfy one of the following two requirements:

1. Neither of the applicant’s parents is a Korean citizen or;
2. The applicant must have received his/her entire elementary, junior high, and high school education outside of Korea at a comparable and equivalent level of those provided in Korea. But in this case, international schools located in Korea are not acknowledged as foreign schools.

Applicants of Korean origin who completed their entire education (elementary, junior high, and high school) outside of Korea should submit the Certificate of the Facts Concerning the Entry & Exit issued by the Korean Immigration Office. The certificate should have recently been issued.

*International students of Korean origin who do not meet one of the eligibility above CANNOT apply for International Admissions.
