Berikut adalah informasi terbaru mengenai Beasiswa POSTECH 2022. Universitas Sains dan Teknologi Pohang atau Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH) didirikan pada tahun 1986 di Pohang, Korea oleh POSCO, sebuah perusahaan baja. POSTECH menjadi tuan rumah Research Institute of Science and Technology (RIST) POSCO di kampus. Pada tahun 1994, POSTECH mendirikan Pohang Accelerator Laboratory (PAL), sumber cahaya sinkrotron generasi ke-3 dan sekarang menjadi fasilitas nasional. PAL-XFEL, laser elektron bebas sinar-X atau X-ray free electron laser (XFEL) sumber cahaya generasi ke-4 diselesaikan pada tahun 2016 dengan biaya US$390 juta, yang ketiga dari jenisnya di dunia, dan akan membuka perbatasan baru dan area penelitian di ilmu kehidupan, material, kimia, dan fisika.
Lab Teknik Material Komputasi Terintegrasi atau Integrated Computational Materials Engineering (ICME) di Institut Pascasarjana Teknologi Bahan Besi dan Energi atau Graduate Institute of Ferrous and Energy Materials technology (GIFT) POSTECH berusaha untuk (pasti) menunjuk 1-2 mahasiswa Pascasarjana (MS/PhD) dari Indonesia tahun ini. Mahasiswa pascasarjana akan berkontribusi pada penelitian desain bahan struktural besi dan non-ferrous menggunakan pengetahuan dalam metalurgi fisik berdasarkan teori, komputasi, dan eksperimen. Description about Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH)
POSTECH was established in 1986 in Pohang, Korea by POSCO, a steel company. POSTECH hosted POSCO’s Research Institute of Science and Technology (RIST) on campus. In 1994, POSTECH set up the Pohang Accelerator Laboratory (PAL), a 3rd-generation synchrotron light source and now a national facility. PAL-XFEL, a 4th-generation light source X-ray free electron laser (XFEL) was completed in 2016 at the cost of US$390 million, the third of its kind in the world, and will open up new frontiers and research areas in life sciences, materials, chemistry, and physics.
The Integrated Computational Materials Engineering Lab (ICME) Lab in the Graduate Institute of Ferrous and Energy Materials technology (GIFT) at Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH) is seeking to (definitely) appoint 1-2 Graduate (MS/PhD) students from Indonesia this year. The graduate students will contribute to the research of ferrous and non-ferrous structural materials design using knowledge in physical metallurgy based on theory, computation, and experiment.

- Completion of BS in Material Science and Engineering or related field.
- Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to communicate and interact with a diverse range of stakeholders and students.
- An understanding of and commitment to POSTECH’s aims, objectives and values in action, together with relevant policies and guidelines.
- Knowledge of health and safety responsibilities and commitment to attending relevant health and safety training.
